 Gully Emptier
States Works operates and maintains a large and varied fleet of vehicles. Everything from small vans to specialist drainage vehicles are used and maintained by States Works on a daily basis.
Many of the specialist vehicles are available for hire with operator at very reasonable rates. This hire can be done on an hourly basis or on contract for a prescribed service.
Some of the specialist vehicles available and their uses are:
- Gully Emptier: To clear surface water road gullies and drains in private drives or roadways, for more information see Dranage Section.
- Mechanical Sweeper: To clean up after hedge cuttng or to sweep a private estate road, for more information see Cleansing Section.
- Jet Vac: To clean large foul or surface water pipes, or empty and clean pumping stations , for more information see Dranage Section.
- Water tanker: To fill up swimming pools or for bulk watering duties
- Sewage tanker: To empty cisterns, septic tanks and cess pits , for more information see Sewage Collection Service.
- Tractors: For all grounds and garden maintenance, utilising a wide range of specialist attachments, for more information see Playing Fields Section.
